An exhibition for the things we carry but never quite say.
Kunstgalerie Zürich · 3–4 October 2026
I — About
I’m organizing an art exhibition in Zürich for the things we carry but never quite say.
I’ve always loved painting and writing. They’re a quiet way of being with the world — a way of saying things that don’t quite fit in conversation.
Expression and reception don’t always meet in the same moment. Sometimes thousands of years apart, sometimes thousands of miles. But when the resonance comes, it feels like meeting an old friend.
Lately I’ve been painting small things — daily feelings, passing thoughts — and it surprised me how much it helps to put them on canvas instead of carrying them. I started wondering what a room of other people’s quiet paintings might feel like.
Kunstgalerie Zürich — Saturday 3 October 2026, 10:00–18:00, with a quieter Sunday 4 October half-day (10:00–15:00). When a work sells, I’m donating a share of the proceeds to 143.ch & Heart2Heart — the Swiss helpline that’s been listening for over 60 years, where I’ve been a volunteer myself. Expressing what’s inside, and being received by someone, are two sides of the same gesture of care. That’s what this exhibition is about.
II — For painters
Looking for painters.
Anyone with something honest to paint, and the courage to show it.
A feeling, a thought, a mood, a memory. Something hard to say out loud, but possible to paint.
You don’t need to have shown work before. You only need a painting you mean.
